WHO IS BRIANA AUGUSTUS

Born in Louisiana and raised in Tennessee, Briana Augustus has since found her way back to her hometown of New Orleans – where she now works from. She earned her B.A. in Communications and Film/Video Production at the University of Memphis in Tennessee.

​With years of working on the technical side of theater, she progressed on to gain experience working on several student shorts in various capacities – from script supervisor, to grip, to editor. One of those shorts – SNACK TIME (A Will Bryson film) – won “Best Hometowner Narrative Short” at the 2014 Indie Memphis Film Festival in Memphis, TN. She continues to pursue her career in film with experience working in the capacity of an AC, AD, PA, gaffer and otherwise, on a variety of filming projects.

As a creative individual, Briana could hardly stick with a single creative outlet so, in addition to Filmmaking, she also currently works as a Photographer, Website Designer, Digital Content Creator, Videographer, Social Media Marketing Consultant and Online Marketing Director.

Other hats Briana wears include those of a Writer, Poet, Painter and Stand-Up Comedian.
